007

So today was a typical Saturday.  Got a waffle, did some grading, wished I was outside.  Finally got a recording from Dr. Yang because Carol couldn't read her handwriting.  Basically she just said that my tendon had somehow been caught or fused together improperly and so she used the needle to break it apart again.  No yoga for 3-6 months unless I'm wearing a brace, which would make it pretty impossible to do yoga.  Bought a warmer blanket because it's seriously getting colder.

But the highlight was when we started watching movies around 8pm.  I had a hankerin' for James Bond because one of my students had mentioned him in their writing assignment.  So first we watched Casino Royale - the only James Bond movie I really like.  Beth had seen it before but forgotten most of what happened, so we were laughing throughout as she predicted/remembered the plot.  We also had a good time coming up with advice for James Bond's unfortunate associates.

You're probably in trouble if...
1. James Bond gets into or on top of your car.
2. James Bond sits down at your poker table.
3. James Bond is looking at your wife.
4. James Bond has your cell phone number.
5. James Bond gets into a backhoe while you're at a construction site.
6. James Bond is following you for any reason.
7. you are with James Bond and a (one-eyed man, scandalously dressed woman, or other obvious villain) is following you.
8. James Bond is licking your fingers in the shower.  (No good can come of this.)
9. you bring a machete to a gunfight with James Bond.

We no sooner finished this great action film, when Angie came out to ask if anyone felt like watching something a little more relaxing before bed.  So at 11:30, she and I started When Harry Met Sally.  There is only one lesson you need to remember from this movie.

Men and women can never be friends.  :)
